Wearable artifacts
of a vanished
era.
858Vintage is a private collection of rare, decades-old designer eyewear — one-of-one survivors of the late '80s and '90s, offered as collector's pieces.
Four houses, one archive.
Not eyewear — a piece of fashion history.
Decades-old designer originals. Production stopped years ago and no factory can recreate them — the supply only shrinks.
Sourced through long-standing relationships in Europe, Japan, and the US. Verified against period catalogs and hallmark marks.
Sculpted hardware, jeweled bridges, fork temples, filigree — these are statements of taste, status, and fashion history.
Every listing is a one-of-one within the collection. When a piece sells, the slot closes.
All eyewear is authentic vintage deadstock, sold as-is in original condition. These are rare, decades-old pieces — minor age-related imperfections may be present and are part of their character. All sales final.
Pieces that have been worn are labelled Vintage – Pre-Owned instead of Deadstock.
"I held onto these because I loved them. They're survivors. One-of-ones."
— Evan Ernest Valdes, founder

The frames that defined
an era.
Bold designer eyewear shaped the look of late-'80s and '90s fashion, music, and hip-hop culture — a wearable signal of taste and status. We tell that history in words, in our own photography, and in the frames themselves.
