About 858Vintage

A private archive,
opened by inquiry.

858Vintage is a San Diego practice devoted to rare designer eyewear from the '70s through the early 2000s — Ettore Bugatti, Hilton, Jean Paul Gaultier, Playboy, and Tiffany & Co. Each frame is sourced through long-standing relationships across Europe, Japan, and the US, examined under loupe, and held in its original case where possible. Every piece is a collector's piece.

Authentication

Every piece is verified against period catalogs, hallmark engravings, and case markings. Reference numbers and known production years accompany each listing.

Archival origins

Sourced from around the world — archival originals only.

Each piece is hunted through European ateliers, Japanese deadstock vaults, and private American collections, then vetted as an authentic archival original before it joins the 858Vintage shelf.
